21 Adar Yahrzeit of Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk

I just arrived back in here in the holy land, Eretz Yisroel after spending Shabbos in Lizensk and davening on 21 Adar the yorzeit of Rabbi Elimelech. I recited the entire sefer Tehillim and mentioned all the names sent to me as kvitels before I left. We were in Cracow (Rama, Tosfos YomTov, Megalah Amukos, Chanukas HaTorah Rebbe Reb Heschel, Maginei Shlomo, Bach) in Dynov (Bnei Yissaschar and his son Tzemach David on his yorzeit) Shinova (Rav Yechezkel Shraga of Shinova, Rav Yehoshua Av Beis Din) Lanczut (Ropshitzer and Reb Eliezer son of Bnei Yisasschar) and of course in Lizhensk by the holy Rebbe Reb Melech zy"a

May his merit shield us and our family and loved ones. Oys GePoylt Ales Guts!

Avos - Kol Yisroel

There is a supernal universe known by the name of Kol Yisroel. That world is complete and unblemished in any way. Sin and deficiency has no hold nor grasp on that place at all.

This is because all of Klal Yisroel as a group are Tzadikim and righteous as the verse says "And your people are all righteous Tzadikim." Therefore even if some individuals sin however as a whole they retain their sanctity and holiness and there can be no accuser nor any evil against them heaven forbid.

For this reason before performing any mitzvah we recite the formula LeShem Yichud . . .BeShem Kol Yisroel – in order to unify the Holy One and the Shechinah in the name of all of Klal Yisroel. Since there is no one in the world that has never sinned nor stumbled once in his life, and as a result of his action even one of his limbs has been spiritually blemished, since the limbs correspond to the mitzvos, and some limb corresponds to the action he did; therefore he can no longer properly fulfill the mitzvah associated with that limb which he blemished and the sanctity of avodas Hashem which should rest and permeate that limb cannot. Therefore he connects himself to all of Klal Yisroel and with their merit as a whole he can succeed and accomplish. (from Noam Elimelech on Parshas Devarim)
